Hello, hope it’s ok to ask others their experiences of this.

I have experienced several miscarriages and am being referred to recurrent miscarriage clinic. I have already had some blood tests and 3d scan of my womb. All were fine.

I want to ask about a referral for a Hysteroscopy. How anyone had experience of this procedure and could share hair experience with me?

This forum makes me feel less alone. Thank you. X

Hi, OP. first of all, so sorry for your losses, I've been through a MMC as well. Flowers

I had a hysteroscopy a few months ago and I was super worried, because I decided together with my obgyn to do it with no sedation/anaesthesia. It was completely not painful, slight discomfort, and it only took 5 minutes - diagnostic, no intervention at all.

Other than that - next period was horrible, I have never had such a heavy and painful period in my life, but the next one was back to normal!

Please, do not worry, I believe that a hysteroscopy is v important in terms of correct diagnosis.

Best wishes!

@readingismycardio thank you for sharing your experience. I’m going to ask for this as I feel it may bring me some answers. Did you get a helpful diagnosis?

You're most welcome! We have a problem with the sperm analysis, the hysteroscopy was in order to be able to proceed to IVF. All good! We took a break, though, I am way too tired of the fertility topic!

@readingismycardio it is EXHAUSTING. Enjoy your break xxx

Best of luck, OP, and hopefully next time we speak we'll both have good news! Fingers crossed!

Hi @F15 , would you mind sharing where you had your 3D scan? I’m really struggling to find a clinic xx
