I wondered if any one could provide some reassurance. I have just found out I am pregnant and around 4.5 weeks by my calculations. I obviously have immediately stopped smoking but I was smoking heavily 15-20 a day before I found out and I am terrified I have done damage. So upset.

Hey! I smoked easily 20 a day before pregnancy, I found out at around 4.5 weeks as well and stopped smoking immediately. I’m now 13w3d and all scans have been perfectly healthy, baby is growing well. It’s understandable to be scared (I was terrified) but it’s not the end of the world! Sending love and support 💕

It'll be fine. Try not to worry. 😊 People drink heavily before they realise and ends up being okay. X

You won’t have done any damage - it’s just a little bundle of cells by that time so if it’s still there, you’re all good! I was exactly the same - smoked until finding out I was pregnant around 4.5 weeks, baby is perfect!
