Hi, not sure why I’m writing this but I know a lot of ladies on here have been in a similar position. I had a mmc in November at 10 weeks was super lucky to get pregnant 2 cycles later and have my 12 week scan tomorrow, I’m usually a not nervous until the moment person but spent all day stressing. Does anyone have any tips on how to not freak out tomorrow, I’m most nervous about that bit in the waiting room, needing to pee and just waiting for my name to be called out.

In reality I know tomorrow will be over before I know it and the likelihood of having another mmc again is low especially as I’ve had no bleeding etc.

Sending you lots of love and solidarity. I've been in your situation. There's really not that much you can do apart from distract yourself tonight and power through tomorrow. As you say, chances are everything is fine this time.
The sonographer should see from your file that you had a MMC but maybe do mention it when you go in. When I had my dating scan they made sure to immediately get a good picture of the heartbeat so I had reassurance of everything being ok within about a second. I cried with relief.
Good luck tomorrow! You can do this! X

No advice really because the wait is horrible. Just take it hour by hour. I found I couldn't really do anything in the waiting room to distract myself other than focus on breathing slowly.

I had my youngest within a year (just) of my MMC. Good luck tomorrow!

I was in the same position a couple of weeks ago at my 12 week scan following a MMC in January. Distraction is the only way I got through it. I would also say let yourself feel the emotions, I got very teary before I left and the drive there was awful - I don't think there's anything you can do to avoid this to be honest. I actually felt relatively calm when I got to the waiting room....as I focused on bot wetting mysel🤣

100% tell the sonographer whats happened - mine was fantastic with me and immediately said when he saw baby and heartbeat ❤️

Thank you 😊 trying to process the twin news which is difficult when you’re half expecting bad news after a previous mmc and have plans for life with one baby! I also have a 3 year old so life is going to change big time!
