Bleeding 9 weeks

I went to the toilet yesterday evening and when I wiped there was quite a bit of pink blood with a few stringy bits in. Still there today and a few shots in my pad.
I'm pretty sure I'm having a miscarriage.
I've tried to be seen by a doctor but it has been an absolute nightmare getting through to them. They're finally said I can have an appointment tomorrow although i think I should have been referred straight to the early pregnancy unit.
I had a private scan a week ago and baby was in right place so not ectopic but I do feel really sick and light headed with it.

Anyone been through the same got any advice

Bleeding is not always miscarriage please don't stress but do be seen. Have you had pain? Any cramping/back ache?

@Ttcmumma I've had slight period like pains on and off nothing major yet. I just feel empty 😕

@Emhead93 I think slight period pains is fairly normal, just your ligaments stretching etc. When I had my miscarriage, I was cramping bad before the blood starting coming. I was on the sofa and couldn't eat my dinner, got stronger until I started to bleed. I had lower back pains too.

When my mum was pregnant with me she bled on and off for months. I'm 27 now 😊

@Ttcmumma I'm struggling to eat too I'm struggling to do much I have zero energy and just feel really sick with it.

Hopefully It turns out ok. I know this sounds silly but an I allowed to have a bath if bleeding? Hoping that could make me feel a little more human

Try to eat something easy and nourishing.

Why not call the EPU directly/self refer?

It's really hard not to worry but do try to to relax and take your mind off it. It won't make a difference to the outcome.

@Emhead93 I couldn't eat because of the intensity of the pain, any sickness was only while baby was still alive and thriving so hopefully it's different.

Yes have a bath! Not too hot remember but no harm in a bath otherwise x

@Whataretheodds unfortunately my EPU is by referral from GP only that why I've been finding it so frustrating although I think if I don't get much help tomorrow I'll give it a try

@Whataretheodds still bleeding slightly. GP said to see if out midwife finally got back and said she would refer me to EPU so hopefully I'll here from them tomorrow.
Just want to know what's going on either way

@cristinapastor89 sorry I've only just seen this! Yes everything was ok I now have a very chunky 2 month old boy!
There was a reason for my bleeding can't remember the name of it now but all was okay!
I hope it's the same for you and you have a wonderful healthy pregnancy 🤞
