Sonographer told me gender at 12 week scan

Has anyone experienced this before? I’m 12+3 I’m interested to hear what others think the gender is based on nub theory.. Can they be wrong this early on?

Unusual for a sonographer to say that at 12 weeks, but sometimes a clear nub picture might indicate sex. Your picture looks like a girl to me

Sorry I've no clue on nub theory but I was told boy at 12 weeks and the sonographer was right. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I would have guessed girl as well.

Did they actually tell you 'this is a boy' or just call your child 'he'? I think most of them do the latter as habit, rather than refer to your baby as 'it'.

I was told at 12 weeks (tbf I asked) and the sonographer was wrong! I wouldn't consider it 100%, prob not anywhere close

I had a trainee sonographer and teacher sonographer at the hospital. My husband and I were trying to guess and they both said they could tell us if we wanted to know. Trainee sonographer went first and said ‘I think it’s a boy’. The teacher sonographer then said ‘yes it’s a boy’ 🤣🙈 I thought girl from pics!
