Someone mentioned this in a thread and I've been trying to find it. I came across articles from about 15 years ago talking about it but can't seem to find any insurance companies that do it. Maybe it's quite obscure that you have to phone in about it. Has anyone had any recent experience?

I'm just a few weeks pregnant and thought this seemed a good idea to insure against as obviously more children will be more expensive.

I can't help with whether or not it's available but surely you'd have to take out the insurance before getting pregnant?

Yeah it's like buying car insurance after a collision...

The articles I've read say before a certain amount of weeks or before a scan. I'm only about 4 weeks. I think you need to be pregnant as they take into consideration your age - as older women are more likely to have twins. It doesn't seem to be on the main insurance websites so might end up leaving it but was just curious if anyone had any recent experience.

It would strike me that it would have to be very expensive as surely you would barely be paying in before you would then take payouts potentially?
