Hi.
Had 4 miscarriages since May, never saw an embryo or heartbeat.
I became pregnant again. I should be 5w + 5d. Had an early scan and only gestational sack was visible, no yolk sac. I also am under the impression the symptoms I had (which were quite mild) are fading. So I m starting to accept the reality of yet another loss.
I am under treatment and really hoped things would be well this time.
I'm so disappointed and I just don't know what to do.
Any advice? I told nobody about this pregnancy, not even my partner. I feel so lonely and hopeless...

@seven201 how far along are you now? All good?

seven201 · 18/05/2023 18:29

I'm 15 weeks now. All good so far.

seven201 · 18/05/2023 18:31

But more info- I've had 4 losses before and this is by far this furthest we've got (excluding our 7 year old dd). It's been 5 years of secondary infertility, ivf, surgeries and miscarriages. All we can do is keep on plodding on! I'm feeing hopeful now.

My sil lost 6 before getting referred and getting a drug (can't remember the name) that stopped her body rejecting the foetus. She then went on to have two healthy babies. Don't give up hope x

My niece had 4 miscarriages then got a drug and had two healthy baby girls. She had to take it as soon as she knew she was pregnant. Ask for it.

caringcarer · 18/05/2023 19:06

Get plenty of rest OP. I'm keeping 🤞 for you.

BabyHope1 · 18/05/2023 22:19

@seven201 sending best thoughts and prayers for things to go well this time.

@caringcarer thanks. Really hoping for things to go well this time.

How are things going BabyHope1?x

BabyHope1 · 26/05/2023 20:03

@CC222 thank you for checking in. I would say that ok. Had a scan yesterday, hematoma got a bit smaller. Baby seems fine, heartbeat was 181 (internet says a biit too high, but dr didn't seem concern). In 2 weeks I'll have the first trimester screening, really hoping things will go well. So all positive thoughts are welcome.

That's great to hear! Baby is doing fantastic! Good luck with the 12 week scan, the anxiety will start to lift after that ♥️

Hey I'm so sorry to read this. I've had 5 miscarriages too. The regular NHS tests found nothing but put me on progesterone and baby aspirin etc after the third MC.

Please ask your doctor to refer you to Tommys and the national reoccurrent miscarriage clinic. I was referred to Imperial hospital/ St Mary's in London (I live up north) and they did specialist testing - still under NHS. I had a hysteroscopy and they found a uterine septum on my womb which they removed.. they also found a blood clotting disorder which meant I needed to take Clexane from positive pregnancy test on my next pregnancy. You have to absolutely push your GP as the knowledge of these things is so weak in the UK. My consultant I was referred to was Professor Lesley Regan - look her up.

I also gave birth to my now 10 month old son last July. There's hope xxx

BabyHope1 · 26/05/2023 22:06

@Rachae thanks for sharing. I'll keep in mind. I'm currently on medication and hope it will work out fine this time.

So very happy you have your son now with you and all the tough times paid off in the end. It also gives me hope.

@pollpp , @CC222 thanks both so much.

Hi all.

Just wanted to check-in. Scan and tests went well. I should be now 12w+4d. And hopefully in December we will welcome our healthy little girl.

Thank you so much for sending good thoughts. And please don't stop 🙈🙈

This is amazing news! I'm so happy for you. You'll have your miracle baby this year ♥️
Please continue to keep us updated too. It's so uplifting to hear how things are progressing.
I hope the anxiety is turning into excitement and joy now. I know you'll still worry throughout, but you've passed a big milestone getting past 12 weeks, so please allow yourself to enjoy your pregnancy now too ♥️

BabyHope1 · 14/06/2023 09:36

Thank you 🤗

@CC222 I feel very excited because it seems real now. Really hope things will continue in a good direction, considering I willi start cutting down on medication. Dr says it should be fine. So I hope it will.

Baby girl at almost 21w. Dr said something about blood flow issue, but said we shouldn't worry, that this normally gets solved in time. So fingers crossed 🤞

@BabyHope1 lovely pic, glad its all going well for you. Did they measure your uterine artery pressure/resistance by any chance?

mommybear1 · 10/08/2023 21:58
