Scan at 5w6d

Am I being optimistic thinking I might see a heart beat (I have a high risk pregnancy so having scan at a hospital early pregnancy unit)

I saw one at 5+6 but don't worry if you don't see one

Usually don't hear the heartbeat until 6-7 weeks

I had one at 5 wks 4 days. Private scan, sonographer was amazed. Did measurements 3 x to confirm.

Thanks guys :) I won’t be concerned it’s just to check baby is in the right place and the pregnancy is viable. My first baby was measuring 6 days bigger at our dating scan so I guess there could be a possibility:)
