9 week appointment - Traces of blood in urine

Hi all,

I am 9+2. I've just been to have my bloods done and mentioned a previous miscarriage and my concerns. The midwife asked if I'd like to know if there was blood in my urine and I said yes. There was a small trace in my urine but she said she wasn't worried as it could be a number of things.

Has anyone else experienced this? It's made me quite scared. I haven't got my scan for another 3 weeks.

Did they also test for a UTI? My midwife said UTIs are very common and many women in the 1st trimester won't have symptoms.
This would be a common cause of blood in the urine x

@Alloveragain3 yes, she said there was no sign of infection

Did she explain before the test why she was doing it and what the potential results meant?

She said it was to check for infections
