Pink then brown spotting/discharge

Hi everyone, this is my second pregnancy my first ended in miscarriage with brown spotting turning to red. A few days ago I had pink discharge which then seems to go away, I then had darker pink when I wiped a couple of times and now have brown discharge every time I wipe. I am 6+2 I think (my periods are quite irregular) can anyone share their experiences, I have a scan Thursday I’m just praying I’m not going through this again.

Hi first of all sorry to hear about your loss, secondly congratulations on the new pregnancy. I've had bleeding in my pregnancy this time from a few days after I tested positive to 6+5 as the epu started me on progesterone due to having had a mc at 8 weeks last October. My bleeding is most likely down to a subchorionic hematoma that was present at the early scan I had and I also had one with my pregnancy last year. Ask about progesterone because due to your previous loss you are entitled to it, the information is on Tommy's website. Hope it all goes well for you with the scan and going forward in the pregnancy x

@Sb86 thank you and sorry for your loss too, it makes me even more nervous because of it before! I also had a hematoma with my last pregnancy and the bleeding stopped then started again progressing into darker blood. I’m on bed rest at the minute hoping it’s nothing too serious, thank you for your advice x
