Overheated in bed

I’m feeling really worried as I’ve stayed at a friends house and it was freezing when we went to bed so I got blankets, oodie and big duvet to sleep under. I’ve woken up boiling and really sweaty.

I’m really worried I’ve hurt the baby as I know you’re not meant to use saunas because the heat can’t escape your body - but under a duvet it’s the same it all got trapped under there. Should I be calling someone?

No I think you’ll be fine, have a glass of water and cool yourself down a little. How far along are you?

I’m 20 weeks… I’ve cooled down now but worried about the time I was under there…

You'll be fine. People have babies in hot countries and in the summer! People exercise etc when pregnant too. I wouldn't worry about this at all.
