Have i left this too late? Just how painful will it be? Am regular waxer so am used to the pain, but is it a lot worse when heavily pregnant? Please share your tips! Thanks

have you? does it really make you feel more comfortable....can't say have experience of waxing in this area..you obviously have your reasons..you are brave btw did a leg wax diy once and almost screamed...is this common for pregenant women to do this btw ?

I had all my bits waxed probably about 38 weeks too and found it was more painful than normal but bearable all the same. It was hilarious trying to get into various positions to have the backs of my legs waxed....anything for vanity! Smile

Hi Hana - I have always continued having my bikini line waxed through my pregnancies. I don't think it hurt any more than usual! I was assuming you were going to a salon because it must be a bit impossible to diy at 38 wks. or maybe not!!

Yes - go on - after all it's only a few weeks now and it will all be on show! Wink

yes - go to salon every 6 weeks or so, meant to go a few weeks ago but haven't gotten around to it. a DIY job at this stage is laughable - I was trying to pee in the sample pot thing before a midwife appt today and couldn't even manage that!!!! So I think I will book that in asap!

hello

i get waxed every 4 weeks and think my last waxing session before giving birth was 38 weeks, i dont really find my bikini line that painful and it didnt hurt more than normal although it was harder getting to the right bits, after i gave birth i noticed she hardly waxed near my knicker line - all that extra chubb got in the way. glad i did get waxed as two weeks later bang on my due day, i was in labour on all fours totally starkers howling like a wolf with my brand new elle nightdress on the floor.... ahhhhhhhhhhh it was not that bad though - a memorable experience!!!
good luck and tell her to give you a good wax

did it on the weekend and actually didn't hurt as much as it usually does!! Couldn't see a thing and was asked if I wanted a mirror to check it out - I did decline, didn't want to scare myself!!
thanks again!

I had a BW at 38 wks for my CS. Sadly, I told the lady doing it why I was having one and she gave me a 'special'. It was waaaaay more painful than the recovery from surgery!
