Hi
i just feel very lost and hoping someone out there might be able to offer some advice/reassurance.
36, this is 4th pregnancy, all previous have been ended in miscarriage.
I had an internal scan on Friday where yolk sac was confirmed in the right place, no fetal pole but sonographer said was normal at under 6 weeks. I had some light bleeding after which cleared up.
I was out on progesterone pessaries due to previous miscarriages. I have been bleeding, only really noticeable when I wipe (although seems a lot) which carries from brown, pink and red. Always very watery.
I am not sure if I’m just clutching at straws but could my cervix be irritated by the pessaries? I’ve never bled at the point the pregnancy was failing in the past. Feeling very alone as EPU is not open until tomorrow and I can’t get hold of my midwife!

I'm so sorry for your losses and that you're going through this stressful time now. Unfortunately only time will tell how this one will turn out. I had repeated bleeds between 4 and 8 weeks, mostly very watery bright red, and it was due to a subchorionic hematoma. My bleeding was quite heavy, filling pads, and I had cramping too. Luckily all was fine and I'm now 33 weeks. So it shows bleeding isn't always a sign of something going wrong.
Fingers crossed your bleeding will settle down soon too and that the progesterone does its thing so you get your sticky bean this time round. Sending you all the best x
