Looking for positive outcomes please.

I'm 25+3 weeks and A negative with antibodies detected, baby is predicted to be positive from early DNA blood sampling.

Anyone been referred or had an intrauterine blood transfusion done before. Unfortunately due to high quant levels and titre levels and regular dopplers we have been referred to specialist fetal medicine team in Glasgow for possible transfusion.

Just looking reassurance as absolutely petrified 😔

Hi I saw your post and thought I’d add my limited knowledge!

My very close friend had to have this with her DD who was extremely unwell in the pregnancy for reasons different to yours.

She ended up having four intra uterine blood transfusions at a hospital four hours away who specialised in this. It was scary for her at the time but each transfusion was a success and her DD is now four years old and very healthy! She also made it to term in that pregnancy. I hope this helps you I can’t imagine the worries.

I have a very tenuous connection to someone who had this treatment - DH's boss's wife about fifteen years ago. I've no idea why. She had to travel quite some distance (I think NI to Scotland?) to have the transfusions I think, but the baby was born healthy, I met him as a toddler, scaling bookshelves driving his mother demented Grin.

All a million years ago obviously and it's not like I had in depth knowledge but I thought it might give comfort to think there's a teen out there somewhere who had it. Flowers

Thank you very much for your replies and responses. That has given me some reassurance going forward to an anxious few weeks ahead. 🤞😊
