TMI - image attached!!!

As it's Saturday I can't just ask my midwife's office. I have bright yellow discharge today, is this anything to be concerned about or a normal part of pregnancy?? I had a colposcopy yesterday if that would be of any relevance. I'm 33 weeks pregnant.

My waters broke with my first and the hospital ignored me. I became more and more convinced it was my waters and eventually went for a 3km walk which started labour after losing water for more than a day but being dismissed by health care professionals. My pregnancy was full term at that stage though. As you are only 33 weeks I would just go into the hospital and take the pads with you. I think that looks like your waters and if the baby is coming early they can give steroids. Good Luck. Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself. Wards are busy and staff can be dismissive.

Hi evreyone, thanks so much for your messages giving plenty of information and support!

I had visited my own midwife who gave me a full MOT (I had reaccuring and uncomfortable braxton hicks last night which terrified me).

They have put me on a monitor and defiantly no real contractions are yet taking place. They measured my bump and I'm completely static the exact same as my measurement from 3 weeks ago. I have a scan at the hospital tomorrow - fingers crossed all is well.

They have also found high levels of sugar in my urine so I'm in for a glucose test on Wednesday.

thanks everyone for your words of wisdom, I'm very nervous for the scan tomorrow and will update x

Hi all, sorry the week has escaped me! Baby was measuring small so went for a growth scan and all was well (plenty of fluid around baby too!). Am still awaiting the results from the diabetes test I had done, but am assuming that no news is good news. Midwife also swabbed and no infection! Would just appear to be some off coloured discharge - which I'm getting plenty off. I showed my midwife a picture who said it's totally normal 🫣

Great news. Good luck for the rest of your pregnancy.

I had this in all my pregnancies. I went and got checked out every time and it was either thrush or leaking urine. Thrush for me has always been a watery discharge rather than thick and creamy that most people talk about. The midwife told me to put a thick pad on and if it was not soaked within an hour or 2 then it's unlikely to be waters. It's good you went and got checked out.
