Skull and nub theory

Hi all,

I've only just heard of the skull and nub theory and wondered if anyone can tell the gender from my 12 week+2 scan?

Skull theory isn’t any more accurate than random guessing. Nub theory is if you know what youre looking at but most accurate after 12+5. I don’t think your photo has a visible nub though sorry

Thanks for the reply PickledScrump. That's good to know about the skull theory as it's all new to me so it's hard to know what is genuine. Can you still use numb theory after 20 weeks? I had my 20 week scan a couple of weeks ago at the hospital but they would not tell me what the gender of the baby was. I am going to get a private scan but I'm just curious if the gender can be determined. This is my 20 week scan

by the 20 week scan the genitals are fully formed so there isn’t any nub to see. By that point you’d need to see a “potty shot” to see. I’ll have a guess At girl though
