Hi everyone I would really value hearing some stories of those who didn’t get a positive test result until later than usual.
I had one health pregnancy in 21. I then had a MMC last year. Both of these pregnancies I got a BFP at 10 do.
this time however I still tested negative at 11 dpo but today at 14dpo I got a solid pink line on the frer (not super dark) from what I read it looks like late implantation has a high rate of miscarriage (but all seems to be based on one study from 1999) so I don’t feel like I can get excited. Should I be concerned.

i used digital ovulation tests and have always used frer.

one big difference is my luteal phase when I got my pregnant with my first was 13 days however for the last year my Luteal phase is 16 days. I’m not sure if that impacts implantation.

any stories positive or negative would be appreciated as I’m trying to prepare myself

I should probably note the reason I retested at 14 dpo is I started to get my usual early pregnancy symptoms. Including morning sickness but I don’t usually get that until later

I would say that every pregnancy is different and the best thing to do, as with all very early pregnancies, is be cautiously hopeful. Stress and worry are not what you need right now.

Congratulations, mama! ❤️❤️❤️

Hi, I had the exact same - tested negative at 9dpo and 10dpo then waited for my period, it was a day late so I tested again at 15dpo - faint line! Like you I was a bit worried at first but my lines have darkened a lot and I'm still pregnant at 23dpo now (5 weeks 2 days), getting very dark lines. Not out of the woods by any stretch but feeling much more positive. Good luck to you.

Hi @cirillaofcintra - I hope it’s OK to ask: how did this turn out in the end? I’m in a similar situation. Thanks!

I'm very sorry but it was a loss, baby didn't make it past 5w6d. However, I searched and Googled a lot (obviously) and found plenty of stories of people who'd had a 'slow start' with lines and stayed pregnant. Sending you best wishes.
