NIPT test

Currently 10 weeks pregnant today, 3rd pregnancy.
Thinking about having the NIPT test, this would be my 1st time to have it. Would anyone have any experience of it, what it involves.
Also if anyone is from Ireland, Dublin in particular, could they recommend somewhere to have it done. Have seen so many places on google but would prefer some honest recommendations.

Hey @Nell23 we did have it done in the end, it was expensive (€450) but well worth every cent. We went with Merrion Fetal health clinic in Dublin. Results were back quite quick too.
Feels like forever ago now though, our little girl is almost 13 weeks 🙈🙈

I'm only 5 weeks but having severe anxiety. I've just turned 37, I've 2 children 4 and 6. Was never as anxious when pg with them. Think it's my age. Worrying myself sick. Xx

I was the same, 36 years with 3 other kids. My age really worried me too but all was fine. The NIPT really did put my mind at ease then I could enjoy the pregnancy after it x
