No. I was probably worse with ds1. Absolutely anything would set me off.

I had a son last time and was fine... this time im expecting a girl and im pathetic. I cry over anything in really inappropriate settings. Today i started crying in the middle of mothercare when i was looking at a photo of my son! i feel pathetic... i think its different for everyone. Hopefully it will wear off soon. keep ur chin up char x

No boy / girl pattern to mine really. I was fine with DD1, very emotional with DD2 at the beginning, total wreck at times with this DS. I think it is more to do with having more on your plate the second time so you can get more emotional.

Obviously it's all relative, and I've never had a girl, but I'm currently pregnant with a boy and very emotional and irrational lol so I'd say it'll be 50-50

bubblepop · 16/02/2008 15:33

old wives tale i reckon, wasnt anymore emotional with the girls than with the boys..just sicker!

Oh I was an absolute emotional wreck last time (had a girl) this time I don't know what it is and I'm just not in any way emotional about it. I guess that's experience though rather than anything else.
