When did you start showing with your second?

I’m pregnant with my second, only 10.5 weeks along. I’ve had the dreaded bloat for the past few weeks but this morning I have woken up to a hard round belly!

Not sure if it’s just bloating or I’ve already popped, and I know it will become clear over the next couple of days, but I was just curious whether this could be my bump already.

Same here I think! 10+5 also, second baby. I've started wearing slightly baggier clothes so people won't notice. I don't feel particularly bloated so does seem to be a genuine little bump in my lower abdomen. Can't remember when I started showing with my first - I think I had loads of bloating so looked big but was all bloat. I'm quite slim so wonder if that makes it more obvious this time?

So it could be a bump! I started showing at around 5 months with the first, and I know you show earlier with the second, so I’m a bit confused!

I didn’t have any bloating first time round, so it surprised me this time when I was 8 weeks and a nursery mum congratulated me…then realised I was so bloated I looked pregnant!

I could pass as bloated or having put a little weight on till about 4months. I was the same with my first, I didn't show earlier this time around and my bump wasn't bigger either which people told me it would be.

Oh wow- people are brave to congratulate you already on a pregnancy! I'm quite careful not to say anything until I know for sure.

Currently 17 weeks. Looking at me naked good day I'd put on weight but everything still fits and haven't felt the need to hide anything. Nobody knows yet and everyone is none the wiser!

Much earlier. I was still fairly comfortable in my suits at 20 weeks with DS1 but firmly in my maternity wear at 14 weeks with DS2. And yes, I bloated massively with DS2 instantly (to the extent that I complained to a colleague that all my clothing was ‘fitting weirdly’ and then about 10 weeks later said…’you know I said my clothing was all off, well, that’s because I’m pregnant!’). I didn’t realise it was a symptom as I never bloated with DS1.

All I can say is I'm 24 weeks and I look about 40 weeks, I'm huge! My first pregnancy j was so small and compact lol....

And yes, someone spotted I was pregnant at about 10 weeks with DS2 where I was still having to point it out at 22 weeks with DS1 (in summer dresses).

I’m quite tall and slim and I think people who know me now would notice now if I wasn’t wearing something baggy and I’m around 9 weeks. I don’t know if it’s just bloat but it’s quite a pregnant looking belly.

About a week ago I had to size up on trousers and skirt’s because they were too tight. I had a day where I was especially bloated and broke the zip on my coat. So definitely bigger earlier.

Boobs have also got bigger 😂

I was told by midwife that baby is still pretty tiny at that stage so wouldn’t cause much of a bump (if any) on its own but can be bloated and carry extra water etc and if not first your body can remember (and have weaker stomach muscles) so starts to get bigger sooner. I asked her as was getting worried about why my bump wasn’t bigger sooner than my previous pregnancy.

I started to show at around 19 weeks but it wasn’t an obvious bump until 20 weeks and even now at 22 weeks (tomorrow) it can pass as just getting chunky. I really want a proper bump now 😂. My bump is no bigger this time round than with my first so it varies from person to person.

I'm in the minority because with both my pregnancies I didn't show until 25 weeks ish.
