Hello,
I am looking for some reassurance.
I found out I was pregnant on 30th March, I only ovulated on 23rd so I was very surprised to get such strong positive results on pregnancy tests and my period was not due for another week. However what prompted me to take the test was the start of some very light bleeding, I put this down to implantation and did not think much of it. It has now been 3 weeks and I have not stopped bleeding. The bleeding is mostly quite light, mostly only visible when I am wiping after using the toilet. On 6th April the bleeding was a bit heavier and did fill a pad but no clots etc. It calmed down again within only a few hours. My GP advised me to just keep testing, which I have done every day! and every day get the same very wrong positive result. Last week (at 3 weeks since conception, 5 weeks since last period) I went for an early scan which was probably a bad decision as there was nothing to see and I am now due to be seen by the early pregnancy unit for a PUL (pregnancy unknown location). Bleeding is continuing albeit light has been 3 weeks of consistent bleeding now. Has anyone had similar and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy or is it most likely that I have miscarried and the tests are just slow to change? Thank you in advance x
