Hi, I'm 37+1, since Friday I've had tightenings and period like cramping in my abdomen, and back pain, it goes on all day and the tightenings last around 1 to 2 minutes average 5 to 6 mins apart for hours, then they stop all of a sudden, I've got a lot of pressure down below also

Is there anything you guys would recommend? I've been walking as much as I can and been on my birthing ball doing exercises

Sounds like your body is gearing up. You need to get lots of oxytocin flowing as it helps start labour. So relax as much as possible, get a massage from your partner, warm baths, watch a comedy, listen to music. Keeping active, getting out for walks, walk-in side ways up the stairs, walking with one leg on the pavement and the other on the road can all help too. A midwife recommended a small glass of wine with my second and again it helps relax you, although it’s a little controversial.

it sounds like your on your way though. Good luck.
