Sac measuring smaller than baby?

Hello all:

I had a scan this past Tuesday and the doctor said all was fine, but she did put my dates back a week (from 7w3d to 6w3d) - I was kind of expecting it as I know I don't ovulate on the 14th day of my cycle.

But I've since gone over the measurements and noticed that the sac doesn't seem as large as it should even though the baby is measuring fine. A little more digging (the internet is a dangerous thing!) and I've found that that's not a good thing. My sac measures 13mm, and the baby measures 7.4mm. I've read that sac-baby should not be less than 5mm - my measurement is 5.6, which I feel is a bit too close for comfort. Should I call the hospital for some reassurance or am I making a big deal out of nothing? I sort of feel like the doctor what've mentioned if she thought it would be a problem, but of course I'm not worried...

Thanks for your advice.

i think that if they thought anything was wrong they would say.

also think you should top googling stuff

Congrats on your pg

So you've Googled and found that you are within OK limits (more than 10% over the minimum OK value, in fact)? Then I think you are making a big deal out of nothing, to be honest. Sac-baby should not be less than 5mm. Yours isn't less than 5mm. That's good.

I know, I know, you're both right! Sometimes I need to hear it from someone else! Thank you both!

It is natural to worry Try not to.

The internet can be a great thing but it's best not to google health related stuff! Makes you worry about things way too much.
If there was anything wrong they would have said.

Congratulations and try to enjoy your pregnancy
