Hi hoping to get some tips! I'm only 9 weeks pregnant but already down to one pair of jeans that feel comfortable! My others still fit but are all high waisted so after a few hours I feel a bit constricted and am not liking the tightness on my stomach. The ones that are comfy are a lower rise and sit under my belly button. I've been looking at getting a couple of pairs but ideally I would like them to last me a good way through, not have to replace in a few months, would people suggest getting normal jeans just in a bigger size / lower rise? Or trying some under bump maternity ones? (the over bump ones are a bit excessive for now!)
I'm also only 5'1 so ideally need petite/short leg just for an extra thing to throw in the mix!
Thanks in advance 😊

Would you consider dungarees? Hands down my favourite maternity purchase. I didn't like the under bump jeans, I never felt they were secure and I was always pulling at them. I got a pair of over bump jeans from H and M which I loved. At this stage of pregnancy though I wore a lot of dresses and leggings.

I also found the under the bump ones a pain. New look have a really good selection of maternity jeans and a range of lengths I'm the opposite need the 34 inch leg x

Thanks both, I just thought under the bump would be more suitable for now than the over bump as I'm only 9 weeks, and I can wear them for work with a nice top (I don't have to be office smart) I'm just at the feeling a bit fat around the stomach stage rather than having a bump yet!

Asos do under the bump jeans which are handier in the earlier stages (I'm 9 weeks too Smile) they also had a sale on so I managed to grab a couple of pairs for £10 each.

If you wear a long top or shirt your can wear your regular jeans but undo the button and use a hair elastic to keep them 'done up'

I'm 13 weeks and not fitting into my jeans now, and wore my old 'over the bump' jeans to work yesterday and spent all day pulling them up, so annoying! So going to try this trick instead.

I bought a pair of under the bump jeans around 10-12 weeks as my normal jeans didn't fit, and they still don't fit at 18 weeks - They're built for a bigger bump and need bump to keep them up, they fall down every couple of steps!

I've got some over bump jeans though which I wear all the time, the fabric does seem a bit much at first, but I fold the top over and down to meet the denim and I find that keeps them up well, without loads of excess fabric. I'll probably be able to wear them 'normally' in another few weeks' time.

I love the Topshop overbump stretch mom jeans, they come in a 30 leg but a cropped style which works fine length-wise for me (normally buy a 28 leg) super comfortable, and the 'waistband' of the denim has a little lip so you can still do a small tuck of a tshirt!
