What is it you would like to ask? My ex left me when pregnant and we had 3 other children

Huhsaywhat · 17/04/2023 20:30

Is it practical advice or emotional support you need? I’m not trying to ask you to say more than you want to openly share. However, we can help you more, if you can tell us what you need.

Sorry, I'm actually considering termination. Already have 2 dc together but not sure how it would work regarding giving birth, contact with a newborn when you have separated. Especially if one person is not on board with the separation.

I did but it depends on your partner or ex partner to be.

I’m happy to PM you.

When I was 30 I left my abusive husband and discovered I was pregnant - I terminated.

When I was 35 I was engaged and found out I was pregnant - he thought he was infertile and I was on the pill - if I had my time again - knowing now what I do I would not have told him, just left. I was 35 and thought it my only chance of having a child. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. He doesn’t pay CSM and is totally NC - his choice. However I lived in a state of anxiety for a number of years that he would make contact. However having my child as a single parent was the best thing I ever did.

Thanks @Snoopyandthemuppets it's a lot to think about. I have my booking in app this week so I will talk through with midwife my options.
It's just not ideal at all. But a hard decision to be making.
