Smear test not due until September but ttc

So...had my copper coil taken out due to TTC baby #4 not due my smear until September and I know you have to wait until 12week ppt to have it done. Will it be ok to wait? As now I'm worrying 🙈 health anxiety really doesn't help. I waited with my 3rd was due my smear in the November, baby was due Feb and had my smear the September and all was fine but this time seem to be over thinking it! The nurse that took my coil out did say they can do a smear 3 months earlier so possibly june but wouldn't like to if any chance pregnant. What should I do...

They don’t do smear tests earlier in our area.
The lab (Manchester) don’t even test the sample if a smear test is actually done earlier, they just dispose of it, maybe you are in a different country though?

If you really want peace of mind you can have a private smear test for around £200 before TTC, it could be worth it to put your mind at rest.

If it’s any consolation I’ve been under the hospital for my smears for the past few years due to CIN2, which had completely gone but they like you to have 3 consecutive yearly smears to check it hasn’t come back.

I told my IVF clinic this and they weren’t worried at all. We proceeded with IVF, healthy pregnancy so far 😊 and my routine hospital smear is booked for once baby is here 3 months PP or something! Just think, usually most smears are done every 3 years anyway.

Thank you @Izzie94x like I say with my 3rd baby i was due a smear and obviously had to wait until after baby and was all ok. I'm not due it until September so depending how long it takes me to fall pregnant not sure how long 'overdue' il be 🙈
