New dad gift ideas

Our first baby (little boy) is due at the end of May and it is my boyfriends birthday early May. Just wanted to know if anyone has any gift ideas of what to get a new dad? I feel most new baby presents focus on baby or myself so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

A baby carrier or a handbook for new fathers

My dd gave her father a watch for his first Father's Day. She was 3 months old at the time and her taste was impeccable. He still wears it.

New dad handbook
Survival kit (here are some ideas for making one, or fill it with snacks he loves and gift cards etc)
A video greeting card or an animated collage of your photos. This idea could also wait till the baby is here and you will include more pictures of him!

DH wandered into the kitchen yesterday wearing the blue "who's the daddy" Smurf t-shirt I bought him before DS was born. The fact that it's now just a very very thin and threadbare, plain blue t-shirt appears to be irrelevant to his continued love of said t-shirt!!!
