I've posted this before OP but it bears repeating.

Advances in Science and technology are wonderful things but not your friends in this situation. When I had my babies we had to take a Urine sample to the chemist after two missed periods. Then wait a week for the result.

I did this four times and have three babies. However I had at least 8 'late' periods at the time you are at and a few weeks beyond. That is why the traditional 'not announcing anything until 3 months gone' was so normal.

Early miscarriage is super super common . I know it doesn't help now but we only know it's a miscarriage because of the amazing new tests available now. You are not alone. It is normally part of the natural selection of nature for survival of a healthy foetus. You just need to go again. When you feel up to it. If you feel up to it ..

It is really heartbreaking to have a pregnancy loss. I have had three miscarriages. I am now pregnant again and past the 18 week mark. The vast majority of women who have a miscarriage will go on to have a healthy baby. I have taken a lot of comfort from the quotes and a book by zoe Clark-Coates.

just because miscarriage is common, it doesn’t mean it’s easier to cope with. It is a personal tragedy for each woman. Also doesn’t matter what stage the loss happens.

I hope that you get good news soon x
