Damp knickers? 8 weeks TMI

Hi everyone,

So sorry for this TMI!!!!!

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and today I've been to the toilet and my knickers are 'damp'. That's the only way I can describe it.

The entire gusset is damp, there's no marks, no visible CM and I'm nervous that it could be something wrong?

Has anyone else had this?

Thanks

Hey, it probably is CM just very watery, I’m 26 weeks now and have had the same thing since day one, never any bleeding just thin clear fluid. Midwife said it was totally normal. I just use thin daily liners now to stay comfortable and that’s been working fine 🙂

I had this, it's watery mucus. I was terrified it was blood and kept legging it to the loo at work to check. Pantliners are useful in the first trimester.

Very normal I recommended Asda own brand long panty liners.

Completely normal to produce thin mucus during pregnancy.

Yes I had this. I think it’s a normal part of pregnancy. I never figured out what it was. I found I got it if I went a slightly extended time trying to hold the toilet on my commute or in general. I don’t think it was urine and it didn’t smell/stain my white underwear but once I added in a toilet stop on my commute I didn’t get it for a long time after that. Maybe I had it again at about 24weeks but only a few times. It could have been sweat I have no idea.

You make extra discharge to keep everything clean and free from infection. It’s normal, pantyliners are your friend.
