Hello,
I'm 32+1 with DC2. My first was head down from 20-something weeks so I never experienced this before. This one's head is currently resting right under my sternum, I get finger and arm movements to my upper left and very frequent and very strong kicks to my bladder and bum.
I know most babies turn by 36 weeks so I'm not too concerned yet for the birth but I am just so so uncomfortable the whole time, it's making life a lot harder than it would have to be. I can't walk very well as it all feels so heavy in my pelvis, the kicks down there nearly make me wee myself every time, even at night, and the big hard lump of a head is making it harder to breathe properly.
I've been doing spinning babies exercises, specifically the forward-leaning inversion, a few times a day for the last week, I'm paying attention to my posture so that I don't slouch back, I sit on a birth ball a lot, I go for a walk every day.
What else can I do? The baby did flip head down for half a day recently and the relief was instant, only to flip back up again. It's a very active little one...
Help?
