Hey guys,

Just done a pregnancy test at 20:25pm today and a line showed within 30 seconds.

Is this definitely a positive or would you say it's an evap line?

My period is due in 3 days !!!

Could i be a false positive? Or am i overthinking haha as i did a test yesterday and it was negative. Done one this morning and it was VERY VERY faint and then done the the clear blue one this evening.

Stop testing at this point and if your period does not arrive, test on a cheap test (mainly because obviously everyone does two tests) a few days later. There's no rush given your booking in appointment won't be until 8 weeks. Just don't forget the risk of testing before you're due - you can easily find it's a chemical pregnancy.

False positives are extremely rare. It has colour so not evap. Test again in a few days if youre worried but honestly I'd say that's a positive

thank you! this is my first pregnancy so i'm very nervous and unsure haha!

I read a few times that it's extremely rare to get a false positive but you can get false negatives a lot.
If that line appeared almost immediately its definitely a positive! Evap lines are usually colourless and don't appear straight away 😊 Congratulations!

@Ellbellx this was the 1st clear blue that I did, again 2 days before period due. (The cheapy test was actually the evening before that which is the reason why I took CB the following day)
I did another CB the next day and the colour was pretty much the same. I took clear blue digital on the morning period was due which again confirmed.
