Hi,
I am 6 weeks pregnant and have been bleeding for three days now. It is very light and only visible when I wipe. It is a dark brown colour. Sorry I have attached a picture so you can see. Has anyone experienced this. I am very worried. Thank you

It’s brown so old blood, could be implantation bleeding. I had bright red bleeding at 9 weeks and was absolutely fine.

Yeah I had that through my third pregnancy on and off all the way through and at the beginning of my fourth. I went to the early pregnancy assessment unit at my hospital at 6 weeks pregnant and had an internal scan which showed everything was OK. They said if it's old blood without pain, then it's probably nothing to worry about.

@PickledScrump Thank you for replying. Can implantation bleeding show as late as six weeks? Xx

@Cakencookieobsessed Thank you so much for replying 😊 I do get a pain in my stomach every so often, but I don't know if that is normal either xx

I had some brown blood in discharge for around 4/5 days at 13 weeks and was told at EPU that was likely old blood from implantation as they couldn’t find anything wrong. I didn’t have implantation bleeding at the time of implantation so maybe it was and just took time to make its way out

@allgoodthings84 Thank you for replying. That's very reassuring. Xx

Definitely looks like old blood. When I miscarried it was bright red and heavier. I'm sure everything is fine. If you're nervous you could get an early scan or go to an EPU.

@sunshine240778474 thanks :) that was in December. Almost 13 weeks pregnant now!

My last miscarriage started with brown bleeding BUT soon progressed to heavier, redder blood. So if its stayed like yours has hopefully that's a good sign.Definitely get checked at EPAU as soon as you can though x
