Hi,

How many times a day did you throw up at 5/6 weeks pregnant?

Thanks,

Zero. That's the median number.

WoodenFloorboards · 15/04/2023 12:05

...although once or twice a day wouldn't be "abnormal"

KylieKangaroo · 15/04/2023 12:06

2 or 3 times

SazCat · 15/04/2023 12:09

I wasn't sick throughout my whole pregnancy. Yet I know someone who was sick most days in the first 10 weeks. Everyone's different.

PointyMcguire · 15/04/2023 12:11

Nada! Though I was lucky and can count on one hand how many times I was sick throughout my pregnancy.

user0786 · 15/04/2023 12:17

I tested positive yesterday (pics attached) and threw up once yesterday and once this morning.

I can't quite work out how far along I am as my cycles aren't the most regular.

Is it worrying if I don't feel sick constantly now that I've been sick twice. Does that mean the HCG is dropping?

Sorry if I sound silly, first pregnancy after an early chemical miscarriage.

Never sick (with any of my pregnancies)

WandaWonder · 15/04/2023 12:22

I didn't

Snoopsnoggysnog · 15/04/2023 12:23

4-5 times a day from 6 weeks. It stopped completely at 13 weeks. Twins though

IamChipmunk · 15/04/2023 12:25

I wasn't sick at all with either of mine.
Felt queasy in the afternoon with dd though but wasn't actually ever sick.

SnowSnow · 15/04/2023 12:26

I wasn't sick much until about just after 6 weeks or possibly nearly 7 weeks when it became constant nausea, lots of retching and vomiting and I am currently 16 weeks and still on antisickness so it may be that it hasn't fully hit yet. I also have a friend who has only ever vomited twice and is 22 weeks so try not to worry. Congratulations 😀

Treeeeeeee · 15/04/2023 12:27

About 20 times each day - each and every day until 39 weeks

Showerpowerer · 15/04/2023 12:29

Maybe 6-7 times a day and record was 4 times in an hour. I struggled to eat / drink and lost weight. I started puking and food aversions before my period was due.

I found my sickness was triggered by tiredness and stress. While I appreciate you don’t have HG I do think sickness can come and go based on the above and what you have eaten.

Anoisagusaris · 15/04/2023 12:33

I was never sick on any of my pregnancies. Very lucky.

DramaAlpaca · 15/04/2023 12:36

DC1 it didn't start until 9 weeks, then I threw up mornings and evenings until 20 weeks. Lovely.

AlltheFs · 15/04/2023 12:38

None.
I wasn’t sick until second trimester!

AutumnOcean · 15/04/2023 12:38

10-15 times each day from about 5 weeks along

NoIncomeTaxNoVAT · 15/04/2023 13:04

Zero times at 5-6 weeks. From 7.5 weeks i threw up 4 times a day until 24 weeks.

Janedoelondon · 15/04/2023 13:08

Congratulations!!

My morning sickness started six weeks on the dot.

I was sick 3/4 a day on average until 12/13 weeks when it reduced to 1/2 times a day until 18 weeks.

Speaking to my friends though, I was definitely one of the more unlucky ones when it came to morning sickness!

Ilovetea42 · 15/04/2023 13:08

Every time food or non water liquid entered my mouth from I woke until I fell asleep. But its different for everyone so don't worry yourself. As it went on I'd have some days sick some days not by the time I got to 3rd tri. So maybe you'll be lucky and not be that sick!

aus12 · 15/04/2023 13:10

Before 9wks I was just nauseous constantly but then it was like a switch was flicked & I started vomiting non-stop, like 15 times a day. Had HG & lost a tonne of weight & didn’t stop until I was 26wks despite being on medication.

Macaroni46 · 15/04/2023 13:20

Constantly! Was miserable and exhausting. Only thing I could just about keep down was porridge. Lived off that for 16 weeks.

lljkk · 15/04/2023 13:21

Zero... MS hit me later.
11x in one day at about 11 weeks with DD (shudder)

Growlybear83 · 15/04/2023 14:08

I was sick multiple times every day until I was about 20 weeks and then it gradually tailed off. My friend was much worse than me and ended up in hospital for a few days because she got so dehydrated. She was still throwing up in the delivery room!
