10 weeks and symptoms suddenly have gotten worse?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience to me? I'm 10 weeks pregnant today and so far I've not felt too bad - just some nausea and food aversion but nothing I can't manage. Today I woke up and I was very headachy, and achy in my joints, particularly my hips - to the point where I can't get comfortable. I also vomited several times - I've not really been sick before now, just nauseous and retching. Just wondered if this sudden worsening of symptoms something anyone else has experienced? This is my first pregnancy after a miscarriage and I've been really anxious something will go wrong.

Thanks

Congrats on your pregnancy! For me, the nausea/vomiting/fatigue has become much worse from week 10 to roughly week 14 in both my pregnancies. It’s annoying because everything you read says you should be feeling better at this stage but it obviously doesn’t work that way for everyone! I suppose there’s a chance you might have a bug? But if not, you may be experiencing what I did! I hope you feel better soon!

It could be a bug but pregnancy symptoms are unpredictable! The worst week I had during my last pregnancy was week 17, bang in the middle of the second trimester which was great before and after that week. I hope you feel better soon!

I've read that week 10 is often the worse week as hormone levels peak so make symptoms worse. Don't know how true it is but hope it eases for you soon x

My symptoms usually ramp up around 9/10 weeks and continue until things settle down around 16 weeks.

My symptoms got worse week 10 then slowly started to ease off. Apparently it's just the hormone peak x

Symptoms definitely peak around now before (hopefully) tailing off as you near the end of your first trimester hopefully.

this was 100% me - generally ok up until week 10 and then couldn’t get out of bed for a week with nausea and vomiting, the only thing that helped was medication from the doctor. I’m 25 weeks now and all is going well touch wood - I started feeling somewhat better around a month or so ago I think and am no longer on the meds. Hope you’re doing ok!

I felt my worst in weeks 10-12! Started to feel a lot better around week 14. I think it's very normal

Thanks all for your reassuring replies. I definitely think it is a peak - I've been feeling rotten all week... hopefully it settles down soon!
