Help help help!

35 wks pg with dd2, went to midwife today and head is three-fifths engaged Please someone reassure me that this doesn't mean labour is imminent, I've got too much to organise before new one arrives ...
I've been very laid-back as dd1 was induced at 42 weeks so I've kind of thought this one would be on time at the earliest ...

Please reassure me. Lie to me if necessary

Nooo...dont panic...its fine....honest!!! Some people go and are told that head is fully engaged and it still takes ages!!

Not a first baby so it might even disengage again.
An engaged baby isn't really an indicator of labour happening soon just as labour can start even though baby not engaged.

i wouldnt worry about it, i am preg with no 4 and the babys head is engaged, my last three were all the same, head engaged early, but i went overdue with all of them.

tbh in my case i think the head has to engage as there isnt much space, i am little on 5 2, and the babies have all been big 9lb plus and VERY long, so even with head engaged the bottom has been up under my ribcage not comfy at all.
