Hey
I have a son already and he’s a massive blessing to us. We started trying again and I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant but I’m not excited in any way now that it’s all real. Have even considered abortion. I have none of the excitement or happy feeling that I had when I was pregnant with my son. Has anyone else felt like this before is it normal?

Hey,
yes I have felt exactly the same. We have an 8yo daughter. We tried (when she was 4) for 4 years more or less, after 2 years we went to a fertility clinic and they said it was highly unlikely we’d conceive naturally. So we kinda gave up but never used protection. By some miracle I am now pregnant and I have cried so much I am so grateful but so petrified.
not sure why I feel like this, I’m also anxious things can go wrong , I don’t remember feeling like this before either . I think it’s just the shock maybe xxx
I have spoken to a few of my friends and they all said they felt the same with their second baby. Xxx

It’s such a strange feeling isnt it. I was so excited when I was pregnant with my son but now I just don’t feel that way at all. I wanted this but now it’s happening I feel like I don’t want it. I feel so guilty that I even feel like this. Xxx
