Where does the bleeding come from?

I'm due to be checked out for bleeding tomorrow at the epau and just thinking out loud.. if the bleed cannot be found or is coming from inside the uterus, how does it get past the plug?
Just when I convince myself everything is improving I start to worry how does it get through, is there a plug there?! I'm probably just going mad 😂

Mine was coming from my cervix directly. (ectropian cervix, I think it’s called) I had it on and off all the way through my last pregnancy, and had to get it checked each time as I’m rhesus neg. But the baby was totally fine.

I’m the same as pp. I have a large ectropian and it bleeds at every opportunity so it’s never ending trips to hospital but fortunately has no impact on baby. Hope it goes ok tomorrow and you get good news.

I don't know where my bleeding came from but I bled the whole way though and had a rush of blood on my first contraction that continued till they were born. Baby totally fine (now nearly 7). Second baby no bleeding at all...

Good luck x
