Anyone else out there nearing the end and well and truly done? Feel free to come and a moan with me.

I’ve had a relatively stress free pregnancy so far but the last week everything has flipped. I’m having a nightmare with my hospital, somehow gained 6lbs in a week, I’m constantly in a bad mood and snapping at my husband and generally feel like complete rubbish, barely sleeping and unbelievably uncomfortable all the time. It still feels like forever to go.

37 weeks and I have had it. Although, to be fair, I've had a horrible pregnancy and have been fed up since the test turned positive. But now I'm REALLY fed up.

Another night of only three hours sleep… I’m so done with this. I know I should be making the most of the time before baby is here but I’d much rather have the sleepless nights of a newborn than this horrendous pregnancy insomnia and constantly looking out for the tiniest sign of labour. Actually feeling really miserable about it all now.

37+2, looking after my 1 year old and fucking sick of being pregnant!! Section booked for 39+3 and waters went early with my DS at 37+5
So so ready for baby...

This is 100% me. I'm 38 weeks today and due to have an ELCS next week and I cannot wait.

I had a growth scan at 36 weeks and I just had a complete breakdown in the waiting room, I was tired, emotional, hurting, getting over a stomach bug and just completely and utterly done.
I don't remember being this exhausted and uncomfortable with my first, maybe this is the difference between a breech baby and a normal one.
My bump has grown so heavy I'm actually waking up in pain from the pressure and no position is comfortable.

Gahhh roll on next week!!

@MO22 magnesium tablets can help with restless legs, assuming it gets worse in the evenings like mine do then take them late afternoon 😊 I'm only 35+4 so a bit behind most of you - got some of this to look forward to no doubt!

Oh wow just come back onto this , wasn’t expecting so many replies!
Sorry there’s so many others feeling like this! Hopefully we can all keep each other a bit sane or at the very least have a good old moan for the next few weeks.

@imy exactly how I feel! I want my body back! I’m over it now. Also have a section booked, just got my date today, so I’m feeling ever so slightly better, I have an end date in sight now.

@Jammiedodger12 yes get me the gin! It’s all I seem to be thinking about now, that first drink 😂 and I’m not even a big drinker normally.

@Replitad Ah sometimes you just need a good cry. I had one yesterday while my husband sat and stroking my arm 😂 which resulted in me shouting ‘stop stroking me I’m not a dog’ at him. Poor bloke can’t do anything right. Hope you are feeling a bit better today.

I'm 38 weeks on Saturday and I'm exhausted and just feel crap. Also trying to look after and make the most of the time being a 3 with my almost 3 year old. Want baby to come soon but also need them to wait. FIL has covid so we don't have childcare outside of nursery days/times at the moment. Plus DD birthday and party in a week.

Sallyh87 · 13/04/2023 17:21

Yes! 35 + 3 today and I truly done with this situation now. Im tired, grumpy and very much in need of a large chilled glass of wine.

Last night in bed, my knee caps started hurting. What the hell is that about?!

Sorry you are all feeling fed up too. It’s all worth it, right? Right?!

MO22 · 14/04/2023 08:27

@RugbyGirl1 ah that's a great tip! I have been taking some last thing before bed and then being so uncomfortable, but the later when I inevitably wake up, it's gone - so must be the timing is off, duh. Thank you so much

How is everyone doing? I’m seriously fed up this weekend, reading into every little sign and just desperate to go into labour now! My DS was here by this stage of pregnancy so always just assumed this one would be too. Physically I feel pretty good but mentally I’m struggling.
