Pregnancy so exhausted!

I'm 24 weeks pregnant and I'm exhausted! I'm not sure if this is normal or not. I don't remember this tiredness with my first dd. I only work 2 days a week as a nurse which is quite full on days on my feet but even when I'm not at work I'm so tired I can barely function. I feel like the worst mum in the world because I just don't have the energy to play and dd has watched way to much tv over the last 24 weeks.
My bloods have all come back normal for iron levels but that was a couple of weeks ago. Is it worth asking for another test? And if it does come back normal anyone got any tips for dealing with this exhaustion.

Sorry to hear you're feeling so exhausted.
Do you have the blood test results or were you told they were normal? The 'normal' parameters that NHS work to don't always align with optimal. Did you have your ferritin level checked? This should be above 30 (NHS use a lower normal range of 5 which is madness, and also not to NICE guidelines. So many people suffering from fatigue unnecessarily as a result...)
Worth having your thyroid checked too if your fatigue is so debilitating. You might need to explain how much your fatigue is affecting your life, hopefully they'll test it. I had a similar issue and had to really push to get it tested and was just repeatedly told in so many words 'you're pregnant, just get on with it'

Hope you find some answers and feel better soon

I'm first trimester and I'm the same I feel so guilty my LO has been glued to the TV. Its taken all my energy today just to get the basic housework done and go to the Supermarket. It doesn't help that the weather is still awful! Once the weather improves I think getting out in the fresh air will help alot.

I was so exhausted when I was pregnant! I've been pregnant 4 times, and every time the first sign was exhaustion. I'm a very energetic person and it was such a shock! When I had Covid just before Christmas it reminded me so vividly of being pregnant. Make sure you get all the proper pregnancy tests but if they're all normal then I think some of us just feel that way-sorry.

I was thinking today how it reminds me of covid! Or a really bad hangover! Mad isn't it @CurlewKate
