Hi I don’t really have anyone to talk to but has anyone experienced sporadic baby movement still at 32 weeks? My baby moves when she wants and the advice is to report anything different to what’s normal but she doesn’t have a normal.
The last 2 days she’s been very active and today she’s back to her usual self of moving here and there. Sometimes I can get 10+ kicks in an hour other days only 2 in the same time period.
Some days I can go up to 4 hours without feeling a thing what point am I supposed to worry if something is potentially wrong? I’m being monitored with regular growth scans because my son was born IUGR and at her last scan her growth had slowed I’m just finding everything a worry it’s affecting my sleep etc

Hi! No advice but I'm the same and basically have decided as long as I feel something a couple of times a day it's probably fine. I think if I had a clockwork pattern and it changed I'd be more worried but it's just so random!

If you’re worried at all it is always better to go and get checked. It’s not about counting actual number of kicks though and more about patterns of movement that you notice across the day. So if baby always moves around a certain time and you don’t feel them, or it feels different in any way then they would always rather you get checked out.
