Am I feeling the baby?

I know no one can really answer this but this is my third pregnancy. Baby 1 I could definitely feel from around 16/17 weeks, baby two was much later and not until after 20 weeks. Now today I have had my gestational diabetes check so I had to drink the glucose sugar drink and since then I've felt the occasional flutter in my tummy. I'm only 15 weeks so I wasn't expecting to feel anything for a while yet! I am not overweight (not sure if that affects feeling the baby or not 🤷‍♀️🙈) and they do feel very much like my other two did at first.

Anyone else feel their baby this early or is it just gas/stomach twinges or something 🤷‍♀️

I felt baby 2 from about 12 weeks. Baby 1 was from about 22 weeks. I am overweight so not sure that has anything to do with it 😂

It could be gas from the drink. I had what I would have sworn blind were babies movements I only know they weren’t as I was only 4 weeks. Some women say they feel them from 10-12 weeks but unfortunately baby is so small it’s just not possible at that stage and it is likely gas. It’s possible to feel movement from around 16 weeks though slightly earlier with consecutive pregnancies so it may be very early movements, but they would be very very faint feelings.

I felt my last baby at 12 weeks, it was a 100% baby, as from that day onwards I felt it. You know your own body! X

I felt number 2 at 13 weeks. Definitely possible. Definitely baby, it’s such a familiar feeling.

Thanks for the replies. I suppose if it continues it’s most likely baby and if not then I’ve made a big deal of gas 😂

I only say I’m not overweight as I had gained a little bit before my second baby and it was longer until I felt him so I wasn’t sure if that was related 😂🙈 When I think about it it obviously isn’t as it’s inside!

That vile drink for the glucose tolerance test really made my little ones flutter so yes you probably are

Pretty sure it’s the baby I can feel as I’ve felt it since a few times, like a little fish wriggling about! 😊
