Hi all,

I've been trying to concieve for over 6 months, 2 months ago I started using the clear blue ovulation sticks. Turns out I seem to have a short luteal phase, less than 8 days. At least I knew that we were missing it.
I am now currently 1 week late on my period. My period usually starts on the 3rd or 4th of the month, it seems I ovulated around day 25 (27th March). I just wanted a little advise please, I have done pregnancy tests and they are negative at the minute.. anyone with short luteal phase when should I test as it seems my whole cycle is not following normal trend even though more or less, I start my period on the same date every month? I am also having some brownish discharge (i'm on day 2 of that) wondering if that could be implantation even though my missed period is over a week ago. It's so difficult to work out when I need to do a test or what is happening when my cycle doesn't run as "normal". Thanks.. just hopeful it has worked this time as this is the furthest we have got and first time I have missed my period!! Xxx

Hi, if what your having is implantation bleeding which it sounds like it. You have to wait for the pregnancy hormone to be at a detectable level. Which can take upto 7 days after implantation is complete. Good luck to you 👍🏻

Hi I’m 42 and trying to conceive, I have 3 children and always knew I wanted a 4th but timing was never right. Now been trying for over a year and nothing has happened. Any advice? First three pregnancies were all quick, we were extremely lucky.
