Hi has anyone else experienced extreme tiredness in early pregnancy. I was out for a walk with my mum and felt although I was going to pass out. I was so tired. I also sleep for around four hours in the afternoon. It comes on so suddenly. I've never felt so tired.

I’m pregnant with my third and having extreme tiredness. Never had it with the others. Also have low blood pressure so getting dizzy a lot.

Yes, and I don’t think people understand just how debilitating it can be. Sometimes it’s just pregnancy, but it can also be anaemia.

The first trimester is the worst. With all me pregnancies I was in bed by 08;30-9pm every night because I was just falling asleep on the sofa.

If you weren't tired before and had no signs of anaemia, I wouldn't worry until you've had your bloods done at 9 weeks.

Yes I did with my second. I can’t remember exactly when it eased but definitely by the time I had my 12 week scan and I had all my energy back by the second trimester.
