Vitamins in early pregnancy

Morning everyone.

Recently for my BFP, think I’m roughly 5+1. I’ve obviously not seen a midwife yet but I’ve filled in the form online to get things rolling. After filling in the form it was advised to start taking folic acid, vitamin d and vitamin c however when I’ve been looking both the vitamin d & c that I’ve found say not to take when pregnant.

Does anyone have any suggestions of any that are safe to take?

Thank you

Just avoid anything with Vitamin A in it.

Other than that supermarket own brand will be fine.

Just take a pregnancy vitamin. It'll have all the stuff you're ok to take in it and none of the stuff you're not meant to.

Or if you're a bit skint hold on until your midwife apt. You can get folic acid on prescription.

Folic acid is the important one now and ideally you would have already been taking it for 3 months prior to conception and up to 12 weeks.

You can get it from Tesco, it’s not expensive. Do start taking it now, don’t wait. Vitamin D and C are safe to take too just avoid Vitamin A.

Don’t overthink it but do start with the folic acid, anything else can wait.
