Pregnancy and Parenting Freebies!

ThePFJ · 14/02/2008 13:20

So far I have joined the cow and gate Mum and Baby Club online with code MB0308C and they are sending me a free cuddly cow.
Tesco's will send me parenting magazines since I joined their club online.
I am reluctant to join the boots one as I have to buy some pampers nappies before I get a free change bag worth 29.99. Which apparently is poo, except the change mat in it. Which is nice. (according to informed mummies on here)
Am loving my 10% Maman Bebe discount from being on Mumsnet...

So, anyone want to add any worth it freebies for me to pass my time on while I wait for this baby!!??
You know you want to share!!

-Is leaving herself wide open for junk mail.. but what the hell!-

BTW, my local Boots never has bounty packs in stock when I go in to try and claim my first one. Even when I rang bounty to ask them to send Boots some more.... Possibly why I feel so in need of free stuff. You could always make me feel better by telling me how poo the 1st bounty pack is. -Go on.. you can lie if you like-

Have a look at the bounty stuff (you should have some bits from your MW) and you'll get loads in the hospital...

3Ddonut · 14/02/2008 13:24

oooppps, x posts, it's not that good.....

Can you not get it from Mothercare instead?

ThePFJ · 14/02/2008 13:27

-twitches-

Thats IF they haven't run out. I ALWAYS seem to be last in the queue for free stuff/good looks/luck on the lottery/cats that don't look worried and wee in the corner when fireworks night comes around/

But thanks.

Don't bother with the Emma's Diary free from Lloyds Pharmacy pack - what a waste of time. I trotted to my nearest Lloyds (luckily nothing out of my way or i'd have been really ) for a cereal bar, a vertbaudet catalogue and a trial size tube of palmers cocoa butter, the smell of which makes me HEAVE.

Haven't had any other freebies.

ThePFJ · 14/02/2008 13:28

NoPe. There is NO mothercare or ASDA near me. See?!?!! LAST in the queue!!

ThePFJ - how far gone are you? I'm 11 weeks and don't know whether I should be signing up to these things yet, don't think my partner could cope with a room full of free junk for 6 months!

ThePFJ · 14/02/2008 13:36

I am 33 weeks and let me get this right.. 33+4 means 33 weeks and 4 days?
I have been pregnant now FOREVER, and my MW agrees....
(since the poor thing has to put up with ME..)
Ahem.

Don't you get all the bounty stuff from your MW anyway? That's where I got mine from and there was pretty much nothing good in it anyway except catalogues. Supposedly if you register on the bounty site, though, you get a free nappy disposal thingy.

Someone on another thread recommended the spirit of nature site, where you can get samples of 2 kinds of biodegradable nappies. Just add them to your basket (may as well throw in the catalogue while you're at it) and checkout. They don't cost anything, and they won't ask you for your credit card details.

ThePFJ · 14/02/2008 13:39

Theres a voucher in your bounty pack for a bag of goodies mumofnone.

Mum2b2BabyRoo · 14/02/2008 13:56

Thanks for spirit of nature tip - have just ordered my free samples!

mumofnone · 14/02/2008 14:09

Whoops - I'm so used to ignoring vouchers (I always forget to use them anyway) that I must have missed it. Will go dig out the pack tonight and see if it's still there!

ThePFJ · 15/02/2008 05:41

Bump!!
Give us your freebie tips!

Apparently if you register on the pampers website and you have a baby under 24 months/mum to be you get £4.00 in nappy vouchers sent to you.
Have given it a go, will let you all know if I get them.

xx

19+2 here

Been joining thecclubs etc and managed to stock up on nappies and bits using alll the vouchers and things.

Tesco baby club send you lots of vouchers. Also get a voucher for a few newborn basket of bits. You need to buy a pack on newborn nappies (cant remeber if its pampers or huggies) but you get a lovely wicker basket with a pack of wipes, a muslin cloth, a little teddy, some talc and some tissues.
The basket is lovely and very sweet for storing things in the nursery.

Ive also been keeping an eye out for supermarket offers. Sainsburys recently did 1/3 off all nappies so we stocked up on various different brands and last week they did half price on baby toilteries so stocked up on loadsa Johnsons baby baths, shampoos, creams, sponges etc even Maternity pads.

pigleychez · 18/02/2008 09:34

Just checked and its a HUGGIES® Baby Beginnings Basket, worth £11.96!
