I always got told to take iron and calcium separately as the impair the absorption of the other mineral.

I used to take my iron (I took spatone or other liquid iron) first thing in the morning before food and then avoided dairy and tea (tea also impacts the absorption of iron) for at least an hour.

I then took my calcium mid afternoon or just after lunch.

Sometimes iron tablets can cause upset stomachs, so may be worth trying different ones yo see which works best for you. I hope that this is helpful

Are you taking them several hours apart? Calcium blocks the absorption of iron so shouldn’t be taken together. Vitamin C helps you absorb iron. You’d be better trying to up your intake of iron rich foods if you can, red meats and dark leafy greens. My iron levels shot up by changing my diet.
