Is it possible to get strong cramps before a missed period if pregnant?

I've had cramps for over a week now, I don't usually get them before AF is due, only once I've started bleeding.
Done a cheapie test and the line was super faint so I'm not counting that as positive currently as it's a squinter and sometimes I think I'm just seeing things. Could be an evap. When I try and take a pic of it, it shows nothing.
I have sore boobs and lower back pain also.

Just wanted to know if any1 else got cramps earlier on before AF was due, when they got their BFP?

Meant to say I'm due over the next few days. My cycles aren't super regular. Usually vary from 27-30 days. I'm currently on day 29

Sounds like when I was pregnant,I thought I just had PMT .

Yes - happened to me before my positive test (currently 9 weeks). But also happened before my period a couple of years ago and I was convinced I was pregnant. So its not really diagnostic. Good luck!

Yes I had horrendous cramps before my period was due in September. I took naproxen/ ibuprofen and cocodamol to survive my day at work and tested positive 3 days later! I did test the day of the cramps and it was negative!

Yes, had cramps around the time my period was due with both pregnancies.

Yes I had cramps with both mine. In my case they were identical to the pre-period cramps I usually get a couple of days before AF so was convinced my period was on the way. I also had a day of cramping at 8dpo this time which I believe was probably implantation 😊

@BrokenDown2 I’m in the same position, been having period like cramps (had to take painkillers)for about 4 days around when period was due. Done a test yesterday morning as realised I was actually a few days late and came up positive straight away!

This is my first so I’m feeling a little anxious and keep wondering if the teat could be wrong. Going to do another later today to double check haha.

Keep us updated how you get on! Would be nice to chat to someone with similar timings ☺️

@Purpleflowers21 congrats ☺️!! Totally understand the anxiety you're feeling.
I done another test this morning and it's super faint again so not sure if they're just evaps.
I'll wait a few days then test again unless AF shows before then. The waiting game sucks!
