I visited EPU 2 weeks ago (when I was 6 +1) due to brown spotting for 1 day at 6 weeks.
All looked ok and they asked me to come back in 2 weeks, except due to the bank holidays they couldn’t fit me in until 19 days later.
I started red spotting on Monday (7 +4) while I was on holiday, which has faded to brown spotting, but is still there with every wipe.
I rang EPU from my holiday on Monday for advice who said if it was ongoing by Friday once I was home to call back, I rang this morning to be told that bleeding can last up to 2 weeks and to just keep my scan appointment for Wednesday.
I know there is nothing they can do if I am losing the baby, but waiting 10 whole days from the start of spotting is such a long time!
I’m a mess and really can’t concentrate on anything else, I keep nipping to the toilet to check on the spotting, which is there every time. It is going to be such a long wait until Wednesday.
