No fetal pole 6 weeks - success story!!

Hi,
I went for a very early scan last year at 5weeks and 6 days. I was told there was no heart beat, not even a fetal pole. I was gutted. I knew it was early still but I wasn’t holding out too much hope (I had already had 3 losses in a row!!). I was told to come back in 10 days to have another scan. Longest 10 days of my life!!!
Fast forward to now and my 6 month old baby is here beside me snoozing away! She is perfect!
I just wanted to write this story because when you’re in that 10 day wait, it’s torture. You’re looking for success stories everywhere to give a glimmer of hope and they are so hard to find!

This has given me hope! I was 6 weeks and no fetal pole only yolk sac and back tomorrow hoping for the best but it has been a long ten days

I'm similar in the I had a scan at 6w exactly (IVF so dates are exactly known) and there was no heartbeat and the sac was measuring 'big' so it was almost certainly an early miscarriage.....she's 11 months now.

Same for me.

Sailing through same boat had eary scan at six weeks only sac was there no fetal pole

6 week scan. Empty gestation sac. Have been asked to wait for 2 weeks. Doctor did not seem positive.

Sorry I know was a while back but I've just had a scan gestational sac and yolk sac visible but no baby.
Was your yolk sac there at that first scan?

Just had a scan 5 weeks 6 days and only gestational sac and yolk sac were visible. I thought the embryo should be visible by now my dates are correct.
Just wondering if anyone else in this position or anyone been in this situation and things turned out OK?

Your story makes me a bit more positive. i just came back from a 6 weeks scan where they said they can't see the fetal pole. This is after 2 MC, one of them a silent one and it gives me just so much anxiety. I just hope it's too early and next week I'll go private and hopefully see some progress.

Hi just wanted to see if anyone was going through similar, I have been for two scans now. First one (last week) I thought I was 6 weeks and they dated me 4-5 weeks which I can’t work out how but understand it’s possible. Just gestational sac. Went back today due to bleeding (brown when I wipe every day) and still gestational sac, saying I’m just under 6 weeks.
I have another scan booked for a weeks time but I don’t feel positive as I don’t even feel any symptoms! Interested to I see if anyone else has experienced it

I was 6w when I was scanned, gestational and yolk sac, no fetal pole. They said the pregnancy appeared a lot less than 6 weeks. The following week baby had a heartbeat. A lot can change in a short period of time with pregnancy so don’t lose hope yet. Were you tracking your cycle?

I am in the 10 days wait from today and I feel better after reading this I am measuring same as u 5+6
