Bleeding from back(?) - sorry TMI!!

20+6.

Been suffering from constipation. Managed to go this morning and quite a bit of bright red blood when wiping.

I've gone back for a wee a few hours later and there is a small amount of blood smeared towards the back of my pad (been wearing pads for weeks due to discharge etc).

I've had a good wipe round and it doesn't appear to be coming from my vagina but from the back- there's still some old blood from where I wiped near my bottom again.

If this is a fissure or piles- can they do that? Continue to bleed for a while after a bowel movement?

I am freaking out. Keep feeling paranoid it's vaginal bleeding but I really don't think it is.

Any experience please?

So sorry for TMI.

Yep they can, sounds like you aggravated piles to me.

Piles do bleed whether internal or external, but check it out with doc. Just another joy of pregnancy!

It could either be piles or a fissure. Fissures can bleed quite a lot as the tear can be quite deep and also quite painful (from experience 🙈).

This might sound really weird but from lots of googling remedies for a fissure that lasted weeks, the one that I found worked was to mix a small amount of honey (I used manuka) and olive oil, and use it as a cream a few times a day. It was cured within days!

Thanks, think I'll try this!
